Just four seasons in and I think its safe to say Victoria Beckham is one of my favorite designers, joining the likes of Valentino, Gianfranco Ferre and Versace. She has offered up four solid collections, season after season since Spring 2009, she has delivered us timeless piece after timeless piece. Everything about her collections scream chic, sophisticated, classy, and strictly for a lady. Oh, did I say her collections scream? I meant gently declare, ladies don’t scream:

Structured and fitted to perfection, her attention detail and execution seemingly surpasses most veterans in the game. Unlike most pop stars who decide to venture into fashion, Victoria is truly a connoisseur of fashion and has served us some great moments through out her lifetime. She also emphasizes that she is apart of every step of making, constructing, and executing each piece, and is a perfectionist to the T. And while most pop stars are the only ones wearing their clothes, Victoria Beckham has garnered A-list fans such as Cameron Diaz, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kelly Ripa, Blake Lively and Jennifer Hudson. She has even gained rave reviews from the most respected names in fashion, including her good friend Marc Jacobs. Read more…

After the show, it’s the after party… Vanity Fair held their annual Oscar party in Hollywood and anyone who’s anyone came out to celebrate with the winners:

Jennifer Lopez and her hubster Marc Anthony of course hit the after party, and J. Lo switched it up to a black fitted gown with feather sleeve detail. Loving this look on her!

Oscar winner Sandra Bullock hit the red carpet with her husband Jesse James showing off her statue. It’s about time she got noticed for her work!

Cameron Diaz switched it up to a shorter, more sophisticated and mature look in this one shoulder glittering number. It’s a good look for her.

Jennifer Hudson came out in a simple flowing gown, in what seemed to be the color of the night- blue. Love this shade of blue, especially on her!

Father/daughter duo Zoe & Lenny Kravitz stuck together for the after party. Loving this duo, true rockstars!

Amber Rose’s relevancy is getting higher and higher every day! She came out to the exclusive A-list event and walked the carpet in this purple satin Origami bust gown. I love how she can go from sex symbol, to tomboy chic, to red-carpet glamazon!

Forest Whitaker hit the carpet with his gorgeous wife Keisha Whitaker. LOVING this look on Keisha! Stunning.

The 51st Annual Grammy Awards went down last night at the Staples Center. While the red carpet this year was a tad blah and boring to me, I have to bring it to you regardless:

Jennifer Hudson made her appearance in a RM by Roland Mouret trenet high neck dress and Christian Louboutin pumps. She looked fabulous, and the dress looked amazing on her. However, wasn’t feeling the pumps with this dress. Fab chick none the less. HIT

My fellow Aries, Leona Lewis, showed up in a nude Randi Rahm gown. Not really feeling the hair or the fit of the dress. Chick has a great body and she always seem to effortlessly lead us to believe otherwise. MISS.

Best dressed of the night, Miley Cyrus, hit the carpet in a Max Azria original. As she puts it, “he bedazzled it just for me”. Miley accessorized her look with a Max Azria Atelier bag, BCBG heels, and jewels from Mimi So and Atelier Swarovski. HIT

Like I promised, I am all over the red carpet [well not literally] at the BET Awards. There were some hits and misses in the fashion department, as for the show… let’s just say I’m glad there wasn’t too much hype surrounding it. Check out the red carpet though:

Solange has definitely been on her fab game lately but she kind of lost me tonight. Everything she had on was actually very nice but she should have let at least one piece take center-piece, too many distractions here. The feathered clutch bag was fab, so was the dress but the shoes were too laid back and the feathers on the bag and prints on the dress were fighting for the spotlight. MISS

*screaming* KERI! What are you doing? What is this? This satin with sequence look is hurting my eyes and I think the sun is afraid to shine. The jumper was wrong, the blazer was wrong and those satin platform shoes were wrong. MISS!!!!

Lil Kim (who wore a Versace dress and a Louis Vuitton bag designed by Marc Jacobs) has been getting her act together lately and while this look wasn’t all the way fab, I appreciate the effort and I’ll let her slide. My only issue is, that damn wig! Sooo… HIT or MISS?? Help me!

MISS. I don’t even want to talk about it.

While I love Keyshia Cole, I don’t think I’m feeling this effect. Her stylist usually knows how to balance her proportions [she has big breast and no hips/butt/thighs] and put her in something that flatters her body and evens her out but she definitely must have been in a rush. The dress she performed in was BEAUTIFUL though! MISS
I see those wigs have become a staple in her wardrobe. Trina rocked this simple look with a monogram Louis Vuitton bag. I HATE monogram LV bags, like there is so much more out there! She has nice legs though.

Okay, I do notice the void in the fashion world when it comes to plus size women and black models. Let’s face it…. it’s not there! With Whitney winning ANTM recently and Tyra never being the “skinny model”, why is it that big girls STILL get no love? We don’t live in a “perfect” world and not every one is a size 4 and light-skinned. This is one is for you… and no tacky fashions either! The hottest trends in your size.

White/Seafoam Ombre Silver Lurex Scarf $14, Torrid
I Love Love Love these scarf’s and it is definitely a hot trend right now!

Tripp Purple/Red Skinny Leg Twill $48, Torrid
Skinny jeans works with practically everything…. pumps, flats, ankle boots, knee-high boots, etc. I don’t know about stilettos though. Skinny jeans and heels? Nah! To check out more styles look below the cut….

Red Carpet Style
I’m watching the MTV Movie Awards just a while ago (I fell asleep so I caught the re-runs) and I realized I totally missed the red carpet, besides the actual show that’s the best part right? Okay so I’m going through pictures, all of them are not in yet so I went through them and this my best and worst dressed:

Charlize Theron bustier top looked so simple but still fabulous. All black is my favorite look and it’s the most classic look. You can dress it up, dress it down, add color, do punk-rock or elegant it doesn’t matter. Charlize did the almost all black look and the metallic bustier topped it off and looked great!

I then stumbled upon Jennifer Hudson. I am fed up with her whack style (must we show our bras?) and the fact that her effort is just so obvious. Either she doesn’t have a stylist or her stylist just wasn’t feelin’ Dreamgirls. This pink, red and white “I’m too late for Valentine’s day” look is killing me. Not to mention those shoes look uber cheap, as opposed to cheap & chic. Get it together boo.
