Jessica Alba was spotted at the screening of “Machete” in Los Angeles recently, rocking a sparkly gold and black mini. Don’t exactly know how I feel about this look:
She rocked a black and gold sequin long-sleeve mini Balmain dress, and paired the dress with Christian Louboutin booties. Not my fave look of hers, but what does my opinion matter? What do you guys think?
Lace and leather? Not for Kristin Cavallari and Kim Kardashian, who opted for the same leather and velvet dress with exaggerated hip, even though Kim’s version has a little ruffle detail:
Kim rocked it last night while attending LA Confidential’s Fall Fashion Issue celebration and accessorized her look with a belt, box clutch and metallic sandals, while Kristin, who rocked the dress back in June, kept her dress clean and finished it with white platform sandals. I actually prefer the look on Kristin, but what do you guys think?
Back when I was pursuing a career as a celebrity stylist, I found out one of fashion’s dirty little secrets: brands like Gucci and Louis Vuitton (especially them) did not want certain celebs wearing their items! As a matter of fact, they would even demand and strong arms celebs to not wear their pieces! This case was made loud and clear back when T.I. had a hard time releasing his “Swing Ya’ Rag” video featuring Swizz Beatz, as Louis Vuitton and Gucci were adamant about NOT having their scarves swangin’ in “some rap video.” And that video never did get released. It looks like Snooki has come under the same wrath with Gucci:
Jersey Shore’s resident dwarf has been spotted on several occasions rocking her basic Gucci bag, with the Gucci monogram all over it. While most brands would try their hardest to keep the closet of a star of the biggest reality show out stacked, Gucci ain’t having it! They would rather Snooki NOT rock anything Gucci and they will do anything to make sure she doesn’t! Creative director of Barney’s, Simon Doonan, claims that no brand wants to co-brand with Snooki, so they send her their competitors bags to stop her from wearing theirs. Her Coach bag was pretty much sewn onto her arm last season, but apparently Coach wanted no parts of that, and sent her a Gucci. Read more…
Looks like there’s another fashion face off with two young diva’s. Dawn Richard and Angela Simmons both seems to like this black dress with detailed shoulders:
Dawn first rocked it while posing for Ghubar magazine back in June, completing the look with platform booties and a mushroom hair style. Angela rocked it while in Vegas while promoting Pastry’s “Box Of Chocolate” launch party, and rocked the Jimmy Choo Zap sandals and long, layered tresses. Love the dress on both ladies, but tell me what you think?
Looks like the Vampire obsession has made an impact in the beauty world as well! Many designers are going with dark lips for this fall. No matter what shade you choose, whether plum-perfect, siren-red, dark-brown, or even black, an intense look will take your look over the edge this season:
Anna Sui, Christian Dior, Peter Som, Antonio Berardi, Prabal Gurung, Dolce & Gabbana and many other designers have solidified this trend is one to watch for, and lust over this Fall. Yes, you read that right. Move over Kim, Khloe (Mrs. Odom if ya nasty!) is building her very own profit-worthy empire with her champion hubby Lamar Odom:
According to WWD, Lighthouse Beauty, the same company that produced Kim K.’s best selling fragrance, is teaming up with the newlyweds happy couple to develop a unisex fragrance. Even though Khloe hinted at the name “Unbreakable” earlier this month at a Casio G-Shock event (Lamar is the brand ambassador for the Ultimate Tough G-Shock watch), a name is still unconfirmed. But they better think fast, because they have until the release date of February to come up with a name.
Good to see them going into business together and combining their powers that be. It’s also exciting to see them still together. Awwww, *tear*

And the Keeping Up With The Kardashians publicity storms begins… The Kardashians are kind of becoming like Beyonce when it comes to the promo storm (ya’ know how she do!), and of course Kim is fronting it all:
