All this talk about pump this, stiletto that, 4 inches here, 6 inches there- all that heel could wear and tear a girl’s feet! I mean, it’s good to be prepared for all the fancy things in life, but what about the casual days? Because I’m sure you have more of those than the dressy ones:

Finding the perfect sandal is not as easy as it sounds! Trust me, I’ve worked around shoes in my professional life long enough to know that finding the right sandal can be harder than finding the right pump. “How,” you ask? Well, when you shop for heels the last thing you look for is comfort, so you don’t factor that into your buying decision, with a sandal, comfort is the first. So when you find a cute sandal that’s too flat and doesn’t support your arch, or too rounded at the toe and doesn’t look right on your narrow feet, or straps that don’t support the guaranteed Summed swelling, it makes it hard. But I have your guide, and a few of my faves, to get you where you need to be.

When I saw these, I thought of you… These Brian Atwood pumps are just, ahhhhh! The lavender heel and toe, gold studs and transparent plexi panels make it the perfect shoe for Spring time fabulosity:

5.5 inches of heel, and 1 inch of platform, that means you’re only walking on 4.5-inches of Orchid heaven! Spice up your whites and pastels with this soft color pump. But watch out for that instep! Ouch, I can see it from here that the instep is crazy! Not even the highest arch could maneuver that. If you must, you can cop them here for $800.

Donatella has done it again! I have always been a fan of Versace and have always said when my money is exactly where I want and need it to be, there will be Versace everywhere! Even to the grocery store, and not because I “got it like that” but because I simply don’t own anyone else.

Donatella Versace said her Spring/Summer 2010 collection was inspired by Tim Burtons’ Alice In Wonderland, and I can definitely see where the inspiration plays a role. Her movie turned muse vibe can be felt through the bold patterns, crazy architecture and pastel colors. Not only am I fan of the shoes, but so are a few celebs:

Hello, lover… Where are my sophisticated rock stars at? This shoe definitely gives me a “lady in the streets, freak in the sheets” kind of vibe! It’s classy, it’s clean, but the studded front gives it an undeniable edge. Loving them!

With a 4.5 inch heel and 1 inch platform, you’re pretty much walking on 3.5 inches of heel… Score! Not to mention the color and vibe is perfect for Spring- baby pink patent leather with transparent PVC, these shoes are sure to say exactly what you need it to say!
As usual, Shoegasm is for drooling purposes only, but if you must have then get them here for $885.

It’s necessary that at least once a week, AT LEAST, I bring you a shoe to drool over! I stumbled upon these Lanvin pumps while innocently browsing the web, and this one is definitely for my sophisticated bad girls:

Wait, wait.. Keep it right there! With a 4.5 inch heel, and half-inch platform, this is definitely not one that will demand you stay seated the whole night! Not to mention, these can carry you from day-to-night. You can detach the gold ankle chain for an elegant at the office look, then throw it on for an after hours event
If you dare want to dip your feet in these, you can cop them here for $1,245– but I did intend them for drooling purposes only!

First, Chanel made the lightbulb heel, now in an effort to not be upstaged, Jimmy Choo has made a shoe with a heel that lights up every time you dance! Break out the disco ball, and the Jimmy Choo For H&M dress:

The Jimmy Choo “Zap” Sandal is equipped with a 5 inch heel, and a mini-disco ball inside. Imagine walking up and down the East Village after a night of clubbing and your heels are lighting up? That’ll definitely keep the lurkers away… *side eye*. The price tag on these bad girls are $2,500! Now, is that before or after taxes? *Kanye shrug*

Who knew that Giuseppe Zanotti launched their E-Boutique (finally)? Well, I didn’t!

The new site features all of their new shoes, divided by categories: shoes, handbags, accessories, E-collection, Grand Soiree, and bridal. Giuseppe has maintained a reputation of remaining at the forefront of fabulous, but we’ve always had to turn to third-party sources such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, Henri Bendel’s, etc. to get our hands on the goods. Well, your hands, because these prices are out of my range (for now
).
The site is flash driven, but not overly confusing like some *other* sites we know (*ahem*, Sergio Rossi). It has a clean, sophisticated design, and easy-to-navigate tabs and tools that allow you to freely, easily, and encouragingly shop. Go, Giuseppe! To check it out, click here.
