Taraji P. Henson hit the red carpet for her newest flick “Karate Kid” starring Jaden Smith last night in Westwood, CA, in which she plays his mom. She rocked a reflective Naeem Khan sheath dress from his Fall 2010 collection, and topped it off with Rene Caovilla strappy sandals:

Love this look on her! Especially loving the bob. Alright now, Ms. Taraji, werk it!

Whoa. This one is a throwback. I was looking at pictures of Kim Kardashian leaving Katsuya last week on the blogs, and noticed something very familiar. Kim K rocked a ruched Dolce & Gabbana LBD and paired it with Burberry Prorsum t-strap sandals. But, I’ve seen these shoes on her before:

She first rocked these Burberry sandals paired with a Herve Leger one-shoulder dress June 2008 while attending her sister Khloe’s b’day party at Pure in Las Vegas (left). I remember because I did a “Who Rocked It Better” post between her and Rihanna when I saw her in the shoe. I also remembered because the photo editor application I was using was giving me a hard time putting the pic of her and Rihanna side by side (and it never did come out right!)
But anywho, when did Kim Kardashian ROCK it? My money is on now.
SIDENOTE: she takes very good care of her shoes, because God knows, 2 years later mines would’ve been a wrap. I think.

BFF’s Rihanna and Katy Perry both debuted new, colorful looks recently. Both singers rocked out in bright, bold colors over the weekend- Rihanna chose red, while Katy Perry chose blue:

Rihanna rocked hers in Rio Saturday, while performing in the “Rock In Rio Madrid” festival, then stepped out to Mahiki nightclub last night showing different angles of the cut and color. Meanwhile, in LA, Katy Perry rocked her new blue ‘do to the MTV Movie Awards: Read more…

Back in March, Sarah Jessica Parker rocked this Fall 2010 Marchesa dress to the ShoWest Awards Ceremony in Las Vegas with her Sex & The City co-stars, then Taylor Swift rocked it for her July Marie Claire spread:

Since magazines are usually done 3 months in advance, technically they rocked it around the same time. Question is, who ROCKED it better?

Rocking a dress Alexander McQueen made her two years ago, Sarah Jessica Parker turned heads at Sex & The City 2’s London premiere:

The bustier gown with “rise and fall” bubble hem was topped off with a Philip Treacy “Cloud” hat adorned with Swarovski crystals. She also rocked a black armband in his memory. About her dress selection, she said:
“He made a dress for me two years ago and I feel it is an emotional tribute to him. I miss him tonight, but I’m thrilled to be wearing this dress. I feel like someone is looking down on me.”
This is a real good look for her! SATC promo time is ALWAYS the best time! She gives me LIFE with her looks, scouts honor.

Alicia Keys held her annual Keep A Child Alive Black Ball in London for her organization, which raises money for HIV/AIDS research and medication for those suffering from the disease in impoverished countries. She came out rocking a petal embellished strapless cocktail dress, with a ribbon around her waist:

While her dress was super-duper-uper cute, the focus was definitely on her spiked pigalle Christian Louboutin pumps!

Man, oh, man! Shoegasm indeed! I would kill a goldfish and drown a turtle for these shoes. *drools*

Gwyneth Paltrow hit the carpet for the 2010 National Movie Awards at the Royal Festival Hall at the Soutbank Centre, rocking this rose pink bubble 2-tiered Prada dress. She topped off the look with pink suede, peep-toe Christian Louboutin pumps:

OMG! I just love Gwyneth Paltrow! Between her and my girl Charlize Theron, I’ll lose my mind picking who slays the red carpet worst. I just love how both of them seem to have no mercy on it. It’s chic, its feminine, and they pay great attention to small details. Its never crazy, over the top, or too in your face. Its very girly, but grown. Work it, Gwyneth!

After a couple international premieres, the cast & crew of Sex & The City 2 brought it home to where it all started last night: New York:

Sarah Jessica Parker wore an one shoulder gown, with sweetheart bustier. Love the color against her skin! This is a good look for the lead.

Kim Cattral went with a vintage look, rocking this gown with deep v-neck, and sequin along the bust and center. Love this look for Ms. Jones!

Ciara hit the red carpet for Maxim’s 11th Annual “Hot 100″ party looking as hot as she wants to look! Rocking an all-white (I told y’all this is the color of Summer!) look, topped with Versace’s Medallion platforms, she was hands down the hottest of the night:

She rocked a sheer Versace blouse, that retails for $2,775, a white very-mini skirt, and Versace sandals for $1,725. That’s well over $3,000 for just one outfit! That’s about 6 months worth of car noted (depending on the whip you’re pushing)! Now if you, like myself, don’t have it- I got you!
