Red Carpet Style FM Reader Jasmin Blaze recently asked “would you be able to find Keke Palmer’s dress? or even a lookalike?”, no worries Jasmin, I found a match for you!
FM favorite Keke Palmer first rocked this short-sleeved purple leather Elise Overland dress to the Kids Choice Awards last year, and it’s actually been one of my fave looks of hers. While I wasn’t able to find that exact dress, I found a look-a-like at my favorite online spot ASOS. The sleeves are a bit longer and the silhouette is a little less form-fitting, but it’s a short-sleeved leather dress nonetheless and still very sexy, not to mention it has studded sleeves which you almost don’t notice.
The Oasis Studded Shoulder Leather Dress can be copped over at ASOS for $222.22! Which is quite a bargain compared to Elise Overland’s usually $700-$1,000+ priced clothing. Reader Request Ok guys, I know I’m exxxxtremely late with this one, but.. better late than never right? Check out the red carpet for this years AMA’s, who wore what and my HIT’s and MISSES:
Alicia Keys looked simple but stunning in an Armani Prive one shoulder dress with Swarovski crystal trim, and while that jeweled thingamajig on her forehead would have caused for an automatic foul, it works for Ms. Keys. HIT
Rihanna looked fabulous in Zac Posen. Very flirty, very fun and very youthful. Leave it to Little Miss Sunshine to be one season ahead. HIT
Taylor Swift (who has the #1 album in the country right now) looked pretty darn boring in Collette Dinnigan and Christian Louboutin shoes. For a girl who’s BF broke up with her on a 27 sec. phone call less than a month ago, she shoulda brought it! Taylor, when you are a celebrity and your man leaves you, you are left with no other choice tha to bring your A-game on the next red carpet you hit. Joe, Nick are whoever Jonas [you were with], should have been kicking himself when he saw you. MISS
Christina Aguilera looked nice in Elie Saab, can’t say I’m loving the hair and makeup though. MISS
The Pussycat Dolls all wore an original design by Project Runway winner Christian Siriano. Love the look for all 5 ladies. HIT

These sunglasses are Vintage Cazal, made in 1986 and they are called the Cazal 865. You can have it for $237 at Vintage Sunglasses Shop. It’s not the EXACT same one though.
