As the 1,097,546,889th celebrity to rock the Christian Louboutin Clou Noeud slingback pumps, Jada Pinkett Smith paired the black version of the shoes with a black sleeveless dress, to the 1,097,546,889th premiere of The Karate Kid:

From Los Angeles, to Spain, to Norway, to London, to Germany, to Mexico, to Dallas, to China, and most recently stopping in Paris, the Smith family is currently the busiest family in Hollywood as they have entered the Guinness Book of World Records for the most premieres for one film (unofficially, of course). Although the film was released long over a month ago in the US, The Karate Kid is still being premiered in countries all over the world! Jada has been there for her baby boy, and hasn’t missed a step along the way. For the Paris premiere of her son’s film, Jada rocked a sophisticated all black look, adding a bit of spunk with her spiked Christian Louboutin sling backs. I think I’m definitely more obsessed with her hair than anything. I really love this blunt bang look on her. This is one fab chica!

Kristin Davis, who plays Charlotte York in the popular series turned film, recently did an interview with EOnline.com, and when they asked about the possibility of a trilogy, she wasn’t too optimistic about it:

“I don’t think so, not that I know of. I wish it was so that we were continuing but I don’t know. We made $300 million internationally. There was so much hype, not coming from us, but the media hyped it up and then they tore it down.”
She said after “under whelming” box office sales and bad reviews, a part 3 is more looking like a “No” than a “Go.” Hmm, well if $300 million is what you would call “under whelming sales” then that says a lot about the franchise. Although I’m a huge fan of Sex & The City, I can say after seeing part 2, I’m not so sure I want to even see a part 3. What other bases are there to cover? The big question through out the series was will Big marry Carrie, and after he did, there were no major plot points left to uncover in a movie. Unless they’re going to relaunch the series and continue the weekly adventure, a film is pointless at this juncture in the game. Maybe they should leave the game on a high note and go down as one of the greats. Don’t ruin it.

Taraji P. Henson hit the red carpet for her newest flick “Karate Kid” starring Jaden Smith last night in Westwood, CA, in which she plays his mom. She rocked a reflective Naeem Khan sheath dress from his Fall 2010 collection, and topped it off with Rene Caovilla strappy sandals:

Love this look on her! Especially loving the bob. Alright now, Ms. Taraji, werk it!

Letoya Luckett hit the carpet for the LA premiere of Katherine Heigel and Ashton Kutcher’s new movie “Killers” rocking this always class gold satin cocktail dress, with shoulder beading and sheer center:

I am loving this look on her! Keep it up, Toya! This is a good look for your girl.

Rocking a dress Alexander McQueen made her two years ago, Sarah Jessica Parker turned heads at Sex & The City 2’s London premiere:

The bustier gown with “rise and fall” bubble hem was topped off with a Philip Treacy “Cloud” hat adorned with Swarovski crystals. She also rocked a black armband in his memory. About her dress selection, she said:
“He made a dress for me two years ago and I feel it is an emotional tribute to him. I miss him tonight, but I’m thrilled to be wearing this dress. I feel like someone is looking down on me.”
This is a real good look for her! SATC promo time is ALWAYS the best time! She gives me LIFE with her looks, scouts honor.

After a couple international premieres, the cast & crew of Sex & The City 2 brought it home to where it all started last night: New York:

Sarah Jessica Parker wore an one shoulder gown, with sweetheart bustier. Love the color against her skin! This is a good look for the lead.

Kim Cattral went with a vintage look, rocking this gown with deep v-neck, and sequin along the bust and center. Love this look for Ms. Jones!

I am so loving Janet Jackson’s new look! To the point where I find it okay that she finds it okay to wear a satin bra with lace detailing under a sheer top, while attending the UK premiere of “Why Did I Get Married, Too?”:

She exudes a level of comfortableness, and she is really glowing! I don’t know if its just me, but she just seems very “in her own skin.” I must say I’m quite happy for her! And with her new cut all curled up, I think we could get over the initial shock of the slicked back debut (which we at FM loved!) Alright now, Ms. Jackson!

Well, at least in this market it is. The highly anticipated Sex & The City sequel wardrobe boasts a $10 million price tag! Patricia Field and her wardrobe team adorned Carrie & co. in over the top hauteness, and in one scene alone Carrie’s outfit was worth $50,000! Who knew the stake was so high for a night of karaoke?

From Oscar de la Renta, to Gianfranco Ferre, to Christian Dior, Vivienne Westwood, to Brian Atwood, to Bill Blass, to Bottega Venetta. With designers as potent as the aforementioned, it’s no wonder the cost was so high! But director Michael Patrick King shouldn’t worry his pretty little head about how he’s going to flip that, I’m sure he’ll make the wardrobe budget back opening night! CAN. NOT. WAIT.
May 27th! See you at the movies!

Everyone seems to have forgotten, or simply were never informed, of what sexy really means. I recently did a 4-part series on what sexy means for the teens, 20’s, 30’s, and 40’s, and to further emphasize how to be sexy without showing or doing too much I will reference an old classic: Baywatch

I remember seeing re-runs of Baywatch growing up, since I was very young when the series was originally airing. The iconic show (which holds the Guinness World Record of being the most watched show in television history, drawing in 1.1 billion viewers a week) was just as iconic as its red one-piece bathing suits, and the constant running. It would make the average person think , either they’re passionate life guards or very sexy track stars. Which ever way, the Baywatch girls were sexy! A red one-piece and long damp hair was enough to make guys lose their minds.
But now-a-days, two-pieces are all the rage. The one piece isn’t sexy enough, it leaves too much to the imagination. Not to mention you didn’t work out all Fall to cover your surfer abs! But who says it’s not sexy? Check out a few of my favorite one-pieces, sexy one-pieces.
