Rihanna hit the after party for her Los Angeles concert stop at Drai’s Hollywood in one of her most interesting looks to date:

Rocking a polka dotted Dolce & Gabbana jumpsuit from the labels Pre-Fall 2010 collection, she definitely looked more colorful than usual. She completed the look with black Christian Louboutin “Big Lips 120″ leather pumps, rose gold link collar chain, blue eye shadow, and of course her red hair. To be honest, I like the look, especially on her and I think that hair set it off. But what do you think?

Kelis is heavy on the promo trail for her newest LP Fleshtone, her most recent stop was at ‘Fuse Top 20 Countdown’ at fuse Studios in NYC yesterday and she rocked an interesting get-up:

She rocked a strapless denim dress, with hearts all over, a wide belt, colorful stacked bangles, and laced up knee-high sandals. Now we all know how Kelis get down, but even she’s not exempt to the ‘Hits or Misses’. Personally, I’m not feeling the look, I’ve seen better (and funkier) on her, and this ain’t it. But what do you think?

In other news: Kelis is getting rave reviews about her album, but one critic, Jess Harvell of Pitchfork, dubbed her the “unluckiest R&B singer of the modern era” and goes on to say “a decade ago, this album would have been career suicide.” Ouch! I love me some her, either way. Fleshtone in stores now!

Vanessa Simmons came out to Pastry’s salute to the troops at the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum in New York, along with her sister Angela, rocking an army green shirt tied at the front, ripped leggings, and knee high boots. I am typically a fan of Vanessa’s style, but her leggings had me questioning her style game for a minute:

Although this look has been rocked by the likes of Nicki Minaj and other hip-hop chicks, I only see it suitable for some people. Vanessa always struck me as the classy type, so I def was caught off guard with the legging. Not loving it either. But what do you guys think?

There are a lot of trends going on here. Denim, fringe, graphics, and colors that don’t coordinate. It could have easily been a cute outfit had the Gucci belt been taken away, or the tank was plain. But what do I know?

Amber Rose, who has been making her nightclub/red carpet rounds (sans Kanye) ever since signing with Ford Models, was spotted out in Beverly Hills at an event rocking this all black get up:

Sheer long sleeve top with a came underneath, satin-cotton-ish skirt with ruffles and strappy sandals. Its just really basic. I’ve seen better from her, really. But what do you guys think?

Beyonce recently hit up the Coachella Music & Art Festival with her hubby Jay-Z rocking a very interesting look. Not really like her at all:

The sheer cropped top, the leather skirt, the cowboy boots.. The headband, I mean, that ain’t it. But when you’re Beyonce you pretty much do what you want.

Rihanna stepped out recently in an outfit that made me go “hmmmm…”, she hasn’t made me do that in a while:

LIONS, TIGERS, BEARS, OH MY!! There is just way too much going on here. Mixing animal prints, with floral, with fringe, and metallic, gee luh-frikkin wiz! Every outfit I feel makes a statement, but right now I feel like a reporter who flew all the way from Australia, in coach, next to an old lady with bad gas, and heard “no comment” through out the whole press conference. Where can I go to get my money back, good sir?

While I missed the red carpet coverage, I did tune into the show, which for the most part flopped this year. My highlights we’re definitely Jay-Z & Alicia Keys‘ performance of “Empire State Of Mind”, Whitney Houston’s performance of “I Didn’t Know My Strength”, Black Eyed Peas‘ performance, Rihanna’s performance, and Janet Jackson’s medley. Adam Lambert had my mouth open throughout his whole performance (whoa!) But for the most part, I was disappointed. WTF was J. Lo doing anyway? Boo! Anywho, just when I thought the red carpet would cheer me up, that slightly disappointed too:

Fergie Fer sparkled in a strapless Girogio Armani dress, giving us a little leg action. Love this edgy, but still simplistic look on her. HIT

Shakira rocked this Versace mini-dress, but kept the accessories to a minimum. I would loved to see her up the jewelry factor. Still a cute look for her though. HIT

Rihanna rocked a carefully constructed Marchesa dress. Not liking this look… at all! I usually love Rih Rih’s red carpet looks, or any looks, but this was a MISS for me. Womp.

Alicia Keys looked gorgeous(!!!) in this multi-colored, beaded detail strapless Giorgio Armani dress. She chose to match her shoes with her dress (tricky!) with these Christian Louboutin sandals. HIT

My fellow Aries, Leona Lewis, bored me- per usual. She rocked this black Vivienne Westwood dress with double hemline and pointy bustline. Not liking this. It probably could have worked on someone else. MISS

Country cute Carrie Underwood looked plain old fab in this Theia dress. I really like this look on her. HIT

Keri Hilson played with the sequence trend in this black Lousie Goldin number. The long sleeve mini dress has always been a fave of mine. It’s playful, but still sexy. Hmm… did Keri lose weight? *side eye*

Selena Gomez looked stunning in this sequence Talbot Ruhnof dress! Love it on her. HIT

Demi Lovato looked peachy perfect in this Jenny Packham dress with jeweled neckline. Love the flirty layers too. HIT

Kelly Clarkson bored the hell out of me! She mistaken the sequenced/jeweled trend for bedazzlement circa 1995. Fine, I’ll give her more credit than that… 1997. MISS

Nicole Kidman hit the carpet with her hubby Keith Urban, rocking Balenciaga. I always get the same thing from Nicole, I’m going need for her to switch it up for me. HIT/MISS (not sure which one yet)

Melody Thornton came out in a long-sleeved Sass & Bide embellished mini and black Alexander McQueen booties. This looks like something you would wear to dinner with your friends. I like it, just not for the AMA’s. MISS

Kristen Bell looked young & classy in Christian Cota. Not my fave look of the night, but it’s a good look for Kristen. HIT

Jennifer Lopez looked GREAT in this feathered and embellished dress. What did you think? It’s J. Lo, she always looks great. Well….., HIT

Rihanna hit up Glamour Magazine’s 2009 Women Of The Year ceremony yesterday night at Carnegie Hall in NYC, where she was honored the “Back-On-Top Superstar” award, rocking this uber fab, carefully constructed Stephane Rolland gown.. and it had pockets!

Not sure how I feel about this look. What do you guys think? Did she hit it out the park? Or is this a strike?
