HIT or MISS Kelis is heavy on the promo trail for her newest LP Fleshtone, her most recent stop was at ‘Fuse Top 20 Countdown’ at fuse Studios in NYC yesterday and she rocked an interesting get-up:
She rocked a strapless denim dress, with hearts all over, a wide belt, colorful stacked bangles, and laced up knee-high sandals. Now we all know how Kelis get down, but even she’s not exempt to the ‘Hits or Misses’. Personally, I’m not feeling the look, I’ve seen better (and funkier) on her, and this ain’t it. But what do you think?

In other news: Kelis is getting rave reviews about her album, but one critic, Jess Harvell of Pitchfork, dubbed her the “unluckiest R&B singer of the modern era” and goes on to say “a decade ago, this album would have been career suicide.” Ouch! I love me some her, either way. Fleshtone in stores now!

I saw the pictures of Mary J. Blige’s performance on ABC’s “Good Morning America” this morning and fell in love with her romper, then I thought “wait a second, I saw someone in that before!”
Selma Blair first rocked this Unhee jumpsuit back in 2008 while promoting Hellboy II during a visit to the now canceled TRL. She paired her romper with Roger Vivier pumps, while Mary rocked it with knee-high cut-out boots. I much prefer the look on Mary, but what do you think?

In one of her first public appearances since dropping baby Cameron, Lauren London was a presenter at Vh1’s Hip-Hop Honor’s Dirty South, and she looked great!
She rocked a Helmut Lang mini dress and belted Lanvin sandals, with a single chain strap going across the foot with plexi sculpted stiletto.
