Some may know luxury, and some may put their self in an “opulence only” lane. But there is a lane out there that makes everything luxurious, look like bubble gum and Rena Yip is in that lane:

The powerful pump is the 2009 shoe from Global Gilded Shoe House Rena Yip. The pump comes with a years worth of shoe concierge and it has the Rena Yip signature Teal Green Alligator sole. The waiting list is over 6months long for the $8,888 standard and the $35,523 exotic. Every pump is made by hand to the mold of the clients foot. Self-made Billionaire Taysha Smith Valez is on of the few people who have been spotted in a pair of Rena Yip:

It ain’t for everybody…
It’s the battle of the Beauty & the Blogger:

Teairra Mari rocked this shirt at her Memorial Day pool party in Beverly Hills yesterday, then Brian (Black Socialite) from Concrete Loop.com rocked the same top in his main picture on Twitter! Question is…
Who ROCKED It?
Beyonce was spotted hitting up London hot spot Movida after her London show, a couple days ago. She was spotted in one of Fall’s biggest trends, strong-padded shoulder blazer. Bey has also been keeping in touch with the same futuristic shouldered clothing as she did when her first album dropped. Guess that’s her vibe this go ’round:

I found a blazer strikingly similar to the one she wore. The difference is the buttons, Bey’s blazer had crystal embellished buttons, where the alternative I found had cream buttons.
Marley Strong Shoulder Doubleknit Blazer $345, INTERMIX
The Kardashian sisters recently expanded their DASH brand and opened their second location in Miami Beach on Wednesday night [the 20th] at The Clevelander Hotel:

Khloe wore Alexander Wang, Kim wore Herve Leger and an Elizabeth & James necklace & Kourtney wore H&M

With the opening of their new store, E! will give Khloe & Kourtney their own spin off show ‘Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami’, which will chronicle the adventure’s of the two in what Kim calls “the sexiest city”. The store is located on the trendy South Beach strip, fitting into the sexiness, exclusivity & luxury that Miami radiates.
Rihanna was spotted having lunch at Da Silvano in New York City earlier today:

Her white, black & green color schemed was just fab against her skin tone! Lately she has been going all out for shopping trips & casual strolls, but for this specific lunch date she kept it casual [but still fly!]
With the biggest night in fashion underway, (in the words of Rachel Zoe) there was no margin for error. Either you hit the mark, or you completely failed. I have chosen my 3 best & worst, but this is just based on my opinion:
BEST DRESSED OF THE NIGHT

Molly Sims (in Dolce & Gabbana), Heidi Klum (in J. Mendel) and Jessica Biel (in Versace Atelier) took the cake for best dressed. These woman went all out & kept the theme in mind. Fashion isn’t about fear, it’s about risk. And these 3 women understood that!
WORST DRESSED OF THE NIGHT

Not sure what Kirsten Dunst (in Chanel Haute Couture), Madonna (in Louis Vuitton) and Leighton Meester (in Louis Vuitton) was thinking when they got dressed, but it obviously didn’t translate. But like I said, fashion isn’t about fear, it’s about risk and these 3 women sure did take a risk!
The biggest night in fashion went down in NYC Monday night, The Met Costume Institute Gala, and as usual, it didn’t fail to sizzle and leave mouths open! The looks were nothing short of dramatic, and while some people passed with flying colors, others failed to make the grade:

Chanel Iman sizzled in a flirty Zac Posen animal print gown. While her accessories shined too, it made sure to not outshine the real star- the dress. HIT

Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr turned heads in this sexy, revealing fringe Jil Sander’s dress. Usually, I’m all for the extremely dramatic floor length, poof sleeve, 3 foot train dresses for an event like this, but Miranda worked it out in this little black dress. HIT

They usually funky Agyness Deyn went retro Hollywood glam in this silver Burberry gown. While she kept it simple in this shiny silver dress, and minimal accessories, her hair & make-up stole the show. The Costume Institute Gala is all about taking risks, and because Agyness stepped out of the box, compared to her usual style, it’s a HIT!

The biggest surprise of the night, and the person everyone was on the look out for- Rihanna, turned heads in her Dolce & Gabbana feminine tuxedo suit with exaggerated shoulders. While this was a MISS for most people, I think it was perfect! Had this been the Grammy’s, she would have got a MISS from me. But for crying out loud, this is the COSTUME INSTITUTE GALA! She kept that in mind, so she gets a HIT.
